Florida State over Duke, Cincy splashing shots over Syracuse, Baylor dominating Kansas. What a crazy weekend for college basketball. Ok let’s get this over with. UCONN. Horrible shooting in the first half, good looks, just missed baskets. Happens, Yet it makes me wonder when you only lose by 3 to a supposedly number 1 team how is UCONN going to fair in the NCAA Tournament. And yes they made it. Big win over Pitt, easy duckie against DePaul, and huge win over a strong WVU team. There in.

However, with that said who’s a number one seed? And here are my predictions. Missouri lock. Kentucky lock, UNC a lock if they win against FSU, the n a toss-up between Syracuse and Ohio State. Now I know your going to say “oh UCONN fan of course Syracuse doesn’t  get an automatic #1 bid. Well here’s the reasoning. Your 37-1. You already have a 2 game bye. UCONN is your first team. A young UCONN team has already played two games, there dead tired ( seen by all there missing shots in the first half, thanks Olander. Shows why CT recruits don’t cut it). Drummond don’t think I didn’t miss you. You need another year.

Ok after that rant Syracuse looks vulnerable while Mizzou looks hot and Kentucky just has great recruits. So with that said this NCAA tournament is going to be crazy. So many good teams. Remember VCU from last year, ya they’ll probably be in it again, Xavier looks nice, and low teams like Gtown, FSU, and San Diego State University is no joke once again. (Side Note lost to UCONN last year haha).

So anyway with that said this is probably going to be one of the craziest NCAA Tourneys ever seen. Yes you’ll have your upsets,but your going to see a lot of teams that were good and have reputations get knocked off fast. The talent pool has become larger for basketball players, which has allowed smaller teams a chance. Does the name Stephen Curry ring a bell. So quick recap Florida State over Duke:Heels automatic 1,  Cincy beating the zoney Cuse, and Baylor putting the hurt on those Jayhawks. And finally the Tigers of Missouri stretching their way to a number one. So far all those people that were looking forward to pitchers and catchers when their team didn’t make the SuperBowl just remember that college basketball holds the key to salvation during those dark non football and boring pre-season baseball games.
